My girlfriend is turning 16 and i recently turned 18. we had sex June 27th not thinking w/o a condom. She has been on birth control since february (knowing it isn't reliable) i instinctively pulled out before ejaculating... we may have done this 3 times that night and i did (also instinctively) urinate between each session. she finished the b/c pills tuesday night and she is on the plecibo pills... she's supposed to start taking the bc pills monday. If she hasn't gotten her period by monday should she refrain from taking them until she has?

Dear Tom,

If she is late for her period, have her take a pregnancy test and see how that goes. If she is pregnant, she should NOT take her b/c pills. You can get FREE and CONFIDENTIAL tests at a pregnancy center. Look one up near you at this site:

www.optionline.org

Now, that being said, you obviously don't want to get your gf pregnant. You also know that there is not a 100% effective b/c out there. So, is it possible for you two to agree to abstain from sex? Have you talked about the realites of the consequences here? You also realize that technically, this is statutory rape and you could be in BIG trouble with the law? There are a lot of GOOD reasons you should not continue with a sexual relationship at this point. There are many other things you can spend time doing that are healthier for you guys.

Kris
