Dear Kim,
Ovulation usually occurs around two weeks after your period ends, so you would probably be ovulating on the 22nd, 23rd, (in a PERFECT world). The thing is, that's not always 100% the sure thing. Other factors, such as stress or illness, etc., can throw your scheudule off. In addition, sperm can live up to three days inside you, waiting for the egg to descend and then fertilizing it.
You should still have a few days to see if your period starts though. However, worrying about it may also make you late, so try not to think about it too much.
You can go for a FREE and CONFIDENTIAL pregnancy test at a pregnancy center. Look one up near you at this site:
http://www.optionline.org/
They can also help with other matters related to all this, should you need it.
Please keep in mind that ANYTIME you have sex, you RISK pregnancy. The ONLY 100% effective b/c is abstinence (not having sex).
Hugs,
Kris
