Burr the corridors were cold. Walking with a hurried step the ebony haired youngster made her way back through the castle heading for the warmth and comfort of the Ravenclaw common room. Her freckled arms full to bursting with library books, a singular ivory feather fastened into one of her pigtails which bobbed to the rhythm of her walk. She reached the door way at last, with an exhausted sigh she spoke the password and was allowed to enter. Earth deep orbs took in the comfy surroundings of her second favorite place in the world, the first being alone in the grounds with her bird. Seeing no one except a dark haired 7th year male, she entered. As she did the strain of carrying all those book became too much, she fell forwards books falling from her arms onto the carpet with a loud SLAP! Exhausted from walking fast with all that weight the Raven haired youngster just sat, books strewn around her. At this moment she was glad the common room wasn’t full of people otherwise she would have died with embarrassment, instead she kept her mocha pools to the floor, velvet cheeks now a shade of fuchsia. With a sigh she decided it was best to get up, even though the idea of staying on the floor all day was a good one. One by one she attempted to retrieve the scattered novels.
