Since it's much easier to write about new developments on this Message Board as opposed to the 'News' section, and since small information is only interesting to the few hardcore KC fans out there (I think that number is currently at about three people), I'm going to use the Message Board whenever something interesting and/or of note happens in the recording studio.

I spent a few hours this afternoon working on "These Days," a song that is for me, the high point of the next album, much like I feel "Your Special Day" was the high point of _Packaged To Play_. The drums and acoustic guitar were recorded this afternoon and sound great. Bass/Keys and addt'l percussion will be added later this week - after that, the music for that song will be all done. Some music for two other songs for the next ablum has been recorded as well, and it looks like things are going to pick up as the winter progresses.
