Earlier this month, I finished up the basic guitar and drum parts for "Slow Motion," and went right into working on "This Gift." The main drum and rhythm guitar parts have been recorded, but I will probably do a few more takes of the guitar track to make it as 'clean' as possible. Hopefully I'll do that within the next few days so that the rest of May can be devoted to going onto the next song, "Things to Come."

As of now, the main tracks have been recorded for eight of the ten new songs for the next album. Things are running on schedule and really couldn't be going better. After the main tracks for "Things to Come" are recorded, I'll begin working on what will probably be the hardest song to record for the next album, "Channeling You Tonight," but I'll talk more about that next month.

I see myself finishing the main tracks for "Things to Come" and "Channeling You Tonight" by the end of June, and then I'll spend July to September doing overdubs. I'd love to say that the actual album will come out by the end of 2004, but it might not be until early 2005.

That's all for now.

All the best,
Kevin
