As I have already stated there will always be issues when to clubs (of opposing sports) join forces, but these should not be the focal point of all discussions. The reality is that we are involved in a very uneven partnership, but if anyone ever thought that this would be any different they'd be a fool.

Hoghton Road has actually been sold and Barratts have recently opened a sales office for 58 houses. In terms of the cash raised from the sale - this was transferred into the new limited company and eventually this would be used towards the new stadium.

The stadium has many, many plus points but its vastness with small crowds is a major problem. I'm not sure I personally would like to return to a ground in the condition that Hoghton Road had become. As for being able to walk around the ground - we do allow access to three sides which includes the main stand - which is hardly a major restriction!

You say the 'fans' should give serious thought to Town's future as if no-one else is too bothered. The fact is that the committee and the so-called 'do-gooders' are the only thing keeping this and many clubs going. We are as likely to go out of business due to a lack of backroom bodies to run the club (as Vaxhalls almost did some time ago) as we are due to financial issues. Finally, you are absolutely right the bog-standard ordinary fan will always remain - unfortunately we have very few of them to start with.
