//\The kind man turns to them, walking slowly over. He watches the two stallions and the mare, keen should they shy or attack. Dipping over the two tiny ones, he careful traces over their dial and chest, then looks back toward the barn, whose heat can be felt faintly even from their position. "Easy, now, easy.." he murmers, slipping a light, releasable rope about the mare's neck, urging her toward the barn. With the other arm he carefully lifts the smallest of the two fillas, coaxing the dam to follow. At the barn door he stops, the end against the wind is closed, but the other would always be open. Walking forward with the filly in his arms, leaving the mare to choose, he carefully places her on a soft bed of straw under a warm lamp. His hand brushes over the filla's chest again, and he listens. He exits the barn, also bringing in the other, and placing her close by, in the same 'stall'. They could leave when they were strong enough. To a medicine cabinet he goes, getting out two syringes and filling them with a yellowish medicine. Eyes on the mare and steeds, then on the fillas, he gently gives each a small shot, which will help them gain strength and ease any signs of fever. He then leaves the barn, its warmth upholding, returning to his cabin to get something./\\
