Restaurateur chases armed robbers with feather duster

Armed robbers fled from a Chinese restaurant when the owner attacked them with a feather duster.

To Kwofong, who has a restaurant in Deurne, Belgium, says the bamboo handle can act like a whip.

He retaliated after one of the men pointed a pistol at his wife's head.

Three men went into the Mei Mei House and ordered some food before producing the pistol.

To Kwofong, who's 42, told the Het Nieuwsblad he was preparing food in the kitchen when his wife shouted to him.

"The first thing I could lay my hands on was a feather duster. It seems harmless but the bamboo handle acts like a whip. When I strike very hard it can break a wrist," he said.

"I wasn't frightened at all. The three men, on the contrary, were frightened to hell."

The paper reports the men fled after being confronted by him.
