This kind of thinking will never do rodeo any good and we all know that's how it is, but I wouldn't want it in print.

Tom Ferguson's comment on Ty's performance on the dancing show, "Ty did a good job. I was watching him, rooting for him, EVEN THOUGH HE COMPETED AT THE OTHER END OF THE ARENA."

Why couldn't he just leave that last sentence out of it?

There may be a reason..... for one, he got a bad rap over that all around title race with Leo and his mother was keeping track of the dollars and challenged it, which they then changed it to a tie, but then years later they gave it all to him.... not sure who was behind all of that... but after that he got very little support from the association...... secondly, it didn't help when Ty won that 7th one, that Larry said straight to the camera that he was the one he was beating, he always figured Tom had only won 5 and 1/2 all arounds......stuff like that stays with you and you might not say the proper thing because of it.
