There may be a reason..... for one, he got a bad rap over that all around title race with Leo and his mother was keeping track of the dollars and challenged it, which they then changed it to a tie, but then years later they gave it all to him.... not sure who was behind all of that... but after that he got very little support from the association...... secondly, it didn't help when Ty won that 7th one, that Larry said straight to the camera that he was the one he was beating, he always figured Tom had only won 5 and 1/2 all arounds......stuff like that stays with you and you might not say the proper thing because of it. -- RODEO RAMBLINGS
