Subject: So what is everybody else's take.

Just read where Justin McBride is retiring. Seen where some people say its always best to go out on top while your young.

I have never thought of people that way for some reason. Imagine if Billy Etbuer had quit 10 years ago when he was on top. Or Freckles Brown when he was 30 instead of 50. Or Butch Myers when he was young. And on and on your could go.

I always kinda respected people more that could endure years of competion and still be a threat at any rodeo.

The way the world is they forget who you are within 10 years anyways. If you enjoy it, I say keep on truckin. If your afraid your going to get hurt then quit.

I still say there in nothing in life that can replace the thrill of nodding your head in a rodeo event.

Maybe I am just not aging gracefully.
