- My home county was 60% McCain. The county where I was born was 70 some % McCain The county where I grew up, I don't want to talk about it. There's a reason I always knew I didn't want my kids to grow up there. I only hope that I can soon say I've been wrong and those liberals are wonderful people and the rest of us need to lighten up on them. I'm willing, but not holding my breath til I see it.   - How can you lighten up on them.... they still bashin Palin.... they demonstrating out in the Land of Fruits and Nuts over the gay marriage thing and filing lawsuits.... they think hunting animals is sooooo cruel..... none of the men have a deep voice.....they talk through their nose most of the time. Thats the biggest pet peeve I have always had about them. Maybe because my voice is extra deep. Keeps the grandson in line. I just have raise the volumn just a notch to get his attention.
