Subject: Welcome to the world of "Change," young man!!!

I have a niece in Colorado Springs who's husband has built up a nice business and is very business savvy. He has lots of employees and falls among the ones that will become taxed out the nose because of "change."

Out of all his employees, there were only two on the "change" band wagon and one was a guy in his twenties and the day after the election, he was bragging about the victory.

When he was asked how this "change " was going to benefit him, he was like many others who voted for it, he didn't have a clue. The only thing he knew was they were going to tax the wealthy real heavy and he was going to get a tax cut. The wealthy had plenty and didn't need it. Sound familiar?

My nephew-in-law who has worked really hard to build up his business, to the point he's having health problems, told him that for the amount of extra taxes he stood to pay, it only makes sense to him to down size and just become a small business in a much lower bracket, much fewer headaches, and still be able to make dang near as much as he's accustomed to making. The young guy, who of course is one of the newer guys, suddenly had a light bulb come on in his head and "Damn, why didn't somebody tell us these things?"

He was told something like "You were told, but was not listening while you were on the soap box."

I saw a movie about a month ago with Andy Griffith in it. Played a real mean spirited part. Some lady had found him in the hills. Made him famous, had his on TV show. Was worshiped like some of the stars are now. Some guy was running for Senator and they brought him in because he had such a following to help this senator win. He told the Senator, something simular to this. "You got to tell the people that you are for change in Washington."
