Here's what I see happening ... his sister, Jordan, is a freshman at Panhandle State Univ. too --- and has a couple college all around titles won already in her first fall season of college rodeo. If she starts hauling to the pro's --Taos will send a horse with her and will rope at every rodeo she is entered in --and not that she's not. This is just my vision of it :)...nothing they've said. Taos is junior in college --he is only 20 years old. won't be 21 until next June --sure happening fast for him. Talked to his mom tonight and sure enough, he's thinking of buying a calf horse :) and doing some roping with Jordan hauling it to shows she goes to --:) His biggest job right now is spending some of his money before year's end so he doesn't have to give a chunk to Uncle Sam -- another real world reality check at this point.   - Varmit, no arguement that land is a good investment for a cowboy. I got to tell you though that over the long haul, land is not always the best investment. These talented kids need a good, honest financial adivsor. I talked to one of the PBR stars who got 'rich' at age 19 and found that the kid's daddy made him turn his money over to a CPA/lawyer/State Senator who is keping the kid grounded. Good on him.     - Well I am thinking of what I would do if I were 20 years old again and how much I could of made off of land in the last 30 years. I think if your 20 now and you buy land, its going to be a win situation by the time another 30 years go by. I just don't trust those corporate investing type people to much.
