Passed: Personal Injury Protection coverage -- mandated coverage for every auto insurance holder -- would be extended four more years under SB 1880 passed by the Senate. The House has begun moving a very different plan (HB 7215) that would get rid of PIP and instead would require $15,000 for coverage in emergency rooms and hospital-owned clinics immediately following an accident. Lawmakers have one week to negotiate a compromise -- RODEO RAMBLINGS
