Subject: NM High School Rodeo rolls to a close

The Mescalero High School Rodeo was last weekend --ending the regular season here in NM --finals will be June 6-10 in Carlsbad -- its been a good year for Jordan Muncy --she's worked hard and the pay off has been seven all-around titles and a number one spot in the standings in barrels, breakaway, goat tying and fourth in the pole bending.

With the points from the finals counting toward the final tally, things could change in any one of the events--but her all around title for the year is secure by several thousand points :) ---

See a picture of her on my web blog(link is above under Julie Carter)--if you look closely at the picture, her rein is about half over the horses head on the way to be all on one side...that was the second barrel, it was completely over by the third and the run home---but she still ended up second for the day and no wrecks :)

- My 2 year old grand daughter sure took a liking to Jordan. She always asks us " Where Jordan at?" Taos is getting with it too. I saw where he split Guymon with Rod Hay and had an 87 point ride there. (NT) -- Hap, 17:05:10 05/17/07 Thu
