  • I check in fairly often. I thought Varmet was out chasin' the cow that got loose somewhere down there. It was on the local DFW news. Like really, a cow got loose? In Ft. Worth when the stockyards was operating the cops wouldn't even respond to a loose cow. The cowboys just went and got them. Roped them on those brick streets and didn't dally until they could get where their horse could hold the critters. (NT) -- ZD, 13:37:46 07/25/07 Wed
  • Things have changed down here over the last 50 years. My dad use to help drive cattle down route 192 in Kissimmee which was a dirt road. Now you see nothing but hotels and it leads into Disney World. We have bunches of people from UP NORTH down here now from the big cities. You can only imagine what they think when they see a cow on the road. Then you got cops born up there and if the ranch and grove deputies don't get there first watch out, anything can happen with a city born cop and with a gun. (NT) -- Varmit, 16:27:39 07/25/07 Wed
