Subject: Hap... how's that knee doing? Only thing I see about all those guys going to the PBR is the fact they only taked 45 and the 45 from the previous year have the best chance to stay in there. A few outsiders make it, but I bet there's a ton load of them trying for those few spots that open up a couple of times a year.
In reply to: Varmit 's message, "ZD....he's getting further away from west Texas as we go. He was a steer riding champ in Oklahoma in 2000 and champ in Missouri in 1999. Before that I have no idea. He dont talk like an European, so guess somewhere in the US." on 13:48:37 11/06/06 Mon

  • I guess he'll be from California next then. Never the less, he can ride. I sure agree that PBR is hurting PRCA. Taking off too much of the talent. I don't think those kids are thinkin' this thring trough. Especially the 2 or 3 event cowboys. Simple math will tell you that you have a better chance of winning in the PRCA than the PBR even though you might not have as many chances. The other thing is the quality of the buckin' stock. The PBR bulls are so rank nobody can have a very long career riding them even if they are truly world class. Of course kids that age don't really have much of a reputation for making the best decisions in business or anything else. Ohhhh-------to be young again. Who'd care then????????
