Subject: Have you heard about that new grass you can run 10 cows to an acre on? I have heard people talk of it. It has some kind of name only a scientist can pronounce. But its some kind of air plant grass. Suppose to do good in lots of places. Only feedback was if it was allowed to get to high it got moldy underneath. Something you wouldn't have to worry about in New Mexico.

  • Our average rainvall is near 35" but it is NORMAL to get less than average. Rainfall distribution is the main problem. This year I have more grass on less rain because we got a good rain at the right time. More inside: -- ZD Ranch, 08:36:03 06/14/06 Wed
  • It's easy to sit for me. I look at 70 miles south of us along the coast and the land is double what it is here. I look another 70 miles south of there and its triple. I figure in another 10 years, when I might be ready to retire, this land will be worth double what it is now. I just look at it as a retirement security. (NT) -- Varmit, 11:45:08 06/14/06 Wed
