Good for the Muncy family. I was pulling for the DeWees girl since I sold her mother, or should say her grandfather a horse back when her mother was a teenager. But I see she had lots of problems in the short round after going into the short round in 2nd place. Looks like ZD has braggin rights on this board as Texas was 2nd. -- RODEO RAMBLINGS

Varmit, if I remember right, Florida bareback riders finished 1 and 2. That's not too shabby. Texas has around 10 regions in the state and the best advance from the regions to state and on to nationals. Pretty good deal down there because the kids don't have to travel the entire state like here. The cream comes to the top and they have tough kids every year. I think it was Kansas I saw on RFDTV last year and they had one kid in the bronc riding at the state finals and he bucked off.
