Varmit, if I remember right, Florida bareback riders finished 1 and 2. That's not too shabby. Texas has around 10 regions in the state and the best advance from the regions to state and on to nationals. Pretty good deal down there because the kids don't have to travel the entire state like here. The cream comes to the top and they have tough kids every year. I think it was Kansas I saw on RFDTV last year and they had one kid in the bronc riding at the state finals and he bucked off. I reckon he was the state champion no matter, so some states are just going to send tougher kids year after year. -- RODEO RAMBLINGS
