Subject: It's raining and raining here in southern NM --old timers say it's been since 1941 that we had rains like this. Flooding everywhere. And so now the rains have done what the drought WAS doing. Keeping hay prices sky high. Lots of black ruined alfalfa laying around. Up side is, there will be more pasture so maybe not such a high demand for the hay --except for the usual stable horses and dairys.
In reply to: Varmit 's message, "We got grass, but have not had any rain for over a month. So its dry right now. Maybe we all can blame it on Gore........ http://www.usatoday.com/news/opinion/editorials/2006-08-09-gore-green_x.htm" on 06:20:29 08/15/06 Tue
