I've just got back from the PBR in Chihuahua, MX. It has taken me until 9:00 tonight to get my business stuff tended to. One of my customers wants me to get rid of an old race horse that never ran. Not sound. I am within 100 mi. of 2 TX slaughter plants and I can't get the horse in. I will have to work with one of the horse buyers to get him to come get the horse and he will get a free horse. We need MORE killers not less. Sad to see the horse go but she needs to. -- RODEO RAMBLINGS

- Muchas Mexicanos, no muchas gringos. Gringos mostly bull riders, fighters & support. The venue sold out and we had to sit in the cheap seats. $250.00 pesos (=$24.00 usd) The weather was 66 @night & 88 in the heat of the day. Mountain shower every day between 5:00 & 7:00pm.   - We got 1 inch of rain from Ernesto. Had a pretty good wind blowing last night for about 4 hours as the eye passed over our area. Just glad it didn't ashore down south as a Cat. 2 or 3 with the path it ended up taking. Not much down the middle of Florida from about this area on south. Just a big ol Lake in Okeechobee and then miles of Everglades with water everywhere. So not much to stop the power of a storm when it comes from down there.
