I got one cow in pasture that will chase everybody except me. If someone is close to me she will not bother them. A couple of years ago I took my son in law down the road with me. We had about 30 cows in that pasture, most all with calves. I said instead of penning them all lets just rope a couple and put them in the trailer. So we throwed out some hay around the outfit and roped one and put it in the trailer then got the second one. I told him, you trot on to the front gate and I will wait until you get the gate open and make a run for it while these cows are busy eating. He said what about that one cow. I said she aint gonna do nothing. We were about 700 feet from the gate. He took off on a hard trot and she spotted him and took off after him. Luckily he had 2 big oak trees about half way to the gate. Anyways, I had to come rescue him by putting the truck and trailer between him and the cow so he could get to the gate. Shes good at keeping trespassers out of pastures. -- RODEO RAMBLINGS
