Subject: I got a dose of what sort of did Gene in.

Last Fall when we had Craig Hamilton coming over for a clinic, I took in a BIG mare that my son was going to ride. Craig worked on her in the clinic and it was pretty obvious that she was not going to be a horse that we could shoot off of even though she was 17+hh, gray and sort of pretty. The mare was sort of gifted/loaned to my son. After the winter I told him to send her back that I didn't want to fool with her any more. The guy was reluctant to take her back and she was menicing other horses so I insisted that she move on. The owner/giftor asked if we could find her a good home. One of Craig's students liked the mare and got along with her good. The gal was a BIG girl and looked really good on her so I gave her the horse.
Now it's been 2 months and there has been no thank you note to the 'real' giver even though I supplied the gal his name and address.

What should I do?
