She glanced about the streets. This really wasn't the place for a fight. Let alone one between an immortal and an undead. She managed a sly grin at Dallas.
"Do as you wish then," She replied and returned her stare to the undead. He stepped closer now and was within ten feet of her. She suddenly dived and swung her sword around and down on him. Just before the blade reached him, it stopped. With a great effort, Shadow pulled it free.
"You and your magic," She sneered. "Without it, you would be useless to anyone."
He grinned but suddenly his expression altered. He frowned coldly, listening to something and then turned to Shadow.
"I am sorry, but I must be leaving," He explained cooly. "Do me a favor and don't get yourself killed, hmm?"
"And beat you out of a job?" She prepared to launch another attack but he was suddenly several yards away. He threw a glance to Kirana, and nodded politely with a dark smile. He had also sensed her presence when he had arrived. With this, he disappeared from sight.
Shadow cursed and flung her sword to the ground at her feet. How could he be so powerful? She was an Immortal and not used to such a powerless feeling. She knelt and retreived her blade, carefully sweeping the dust off of it before returning it to its sheath.
