I glued a plexiglass window to a acrylic painted papermache box. The paint lifted off where the glue (527) touched it. I painted over the edges of the plexiglass to match the paint. I am wondering will this adhere alright over time. It looks fine now. Sholud I brush a sealer over it? Also why did the paint come off under the glue. I thought my husband used this glue before on similiar projects with the paint remaining okay. (my husband died recently)
Hope you can advice Thanks
Linda
