Dear sister layla I would like to know Does Islam allow some time for a woman to start wearing the Hijab? Alot of women come from hardly any clothes to embrace Islam and I was wondering what if their Iman is not to the point where they feel comfortable wearing the Hijab.How long does she have to start wearing it?

As Saalamu Alaikoum,

Praise be to Allah.

Once a person embraces Islam he is then subjected to abide by all the rules of Allah and his Prophet(saw) IMMEDIATELY. There is no grace period.

This is why we do not force islam upon a person.. Allah says in the Quran, "...there is no compulsion in religion."

When a person embraces islam he or she must be aware of all the obligations required, for once he or she gives shahadah their life begins anew and they are held accountable for what they do from that moment on...
