As Salaamu Alaikoum,

Praise be to Allah.

I do not know the circumstances behind the person telling you this, but too many times people keep questioning, "Why" "Why" "Why".

The Prophet(saw) has told us to avoid asking too many questions about religious matters that even if you knew the answer to them, you still will not understand. [Bukhari and Muslim]

Many people question why Allah said a thing or why this is haraam and that is not. Sometimes it is best to just "Hear and Obey" instead of constantly questioning why something is.

There are some things which Allah has given us knowledge of yet, there are many other things which he kept the knowledge of only to himself...so what do we do?? We simply Hear and Obey!

Shaytaan puts thoughts in our minds to make us question Allah, his rulings, and even his decree, so we should avoid thinking to much about some things, and again, "Hear and
Obey".

The Prophet (saw) has instructed us to "Stay away from doubtful things". [Bukhari and Muslim]

The reason being because Shaytaans aim is to make you question things and put doubt into your heart as a means of leading you astray.

In regards to feelings, we are all human and have feelings, and the prophet(saw) has advised us to be gentle in our dealings with one another. [Bukhari and Muslim]

When reprimanding a person there is a way to do so and we should avoid offending the person..

AND ALLAH KNOWS BEST
