As salaam alaikoem,
I became a muslim in the beginning of this year. I married (Maroc woman)almost 10 years, we've got 2 childeren. My wife does not wear hijaab, now at the beginning of this ramadan she started praying but she's not doing it on the wright ours. She nows Allah (swt) will punish her herefore. She rather watch television or is to lazy to do prayers at wright moments. I try to do my best, but she's says to me that i am like people in the time of the Profet (saws), wich is not true (just no music and almost no television and other little things like beard), i think i have to go a long way, before i can be like one of them. I believe she's thinking that Islam has to go with time.
Allah (swt) did say we have to marry very good believing woman. What about my situation? I don,t like the way that she is an i wich i had a very good believing wife, i make doea to Allah putting her on right path. It would be better and easier to may and for childeren to learn about Islam. Wa alaikoem salaam

As Salaamu Alaikoum,

Praise be to Allah.

This is why when we marry we should marry for religion above all other things.

Unfortunately there is no majic wand to wave that will make your wife fear Allah and practice her religion. The only thing I can suggest is that you consider your other options which are either divorce her or you can utlize your right to have 4 wives.

Other than that there is nothing more I can suggest.
