As salamu alaikum wa rahamtullahi wa baraktuhu,
Respected scholar, could u plz tell me whether islam permits the family planning operation? i know that abortion is haraam but what if the spouse maintain some gap for making babies through some medication? Is it right or wrong?

I do not know what you mean by operation. It is Haraam to permanently disable yourself from having babies.

Abortion is also haraam.

Birth control pills are not haraam as long as they do not cause damage or sterility to the person and both parties (meaning husband and wife) agree to the use of them.
