Allah is one. He has no children. He has no wife. He has no partners. We are simply creations of Allah: �And (both) the Jews and the Christians say: �We are the children of Allaah and His loved ones.� Say: �Why then does He punish you for your sins?� Nay, you are but human beings of those He has created�� [al-Maa�idah 5:18 � interpretation of the meaning] We are creations of Allah created for the sole purpose of becoming pious and to worship him: "And I (Allaah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone).�[al-Dhaariyaat 51:56, interpretation of the meaning] �O mankind! Worship your Lord (Allaah), Who has created you and those before you so that you may become al-muttaqoon (the pious).� [al-Baqarah 2:21, interpretation of the meaning] We were created to worship Allah and to accumulate as many good deeds in this life as possible for the ultimate reward which is the hereafter. For those who obeyed Allah and associated not partners with him, and who lived a pious life in this world, they will be the ones rewarded with paradise, but for those who did not obey Allah and who did associate partners with him, they will be the losers to dwell in hell: �Whoever works righteousness � whether male or female � while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him We will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do (i.e. Paradise in the Hereafter� [al-Nahl 16:97, interpretation of the meaning] So thus we were created to worship and obey Allah and this is a test for each and every one of us. And this is why what we believes matter..for those who do not believe in Allah will be the losers to make up hell whereas those who do believe in Allah will be successful and make up paradise.
