And, if such a verse exists, how did the Bible end up from being a Divine Book, to containing such nonsense as trinity, God fighting Jacob(alayhisSalam), etc. Also, there's a hadith that says if a christian tell us something from the Bible, we should neither deny it, nor affirm it. - in what matters does this relate to, for example, when christians speak of God in such low words - are we allowed to reject this and consider it as false jazakallahu khair [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ]

First:The existing Bible is distorted, for there are four different scripts, each of which is violating the others. But seekers of knowledge who have the sight of differentiate between truth and wrong can study these books to refute what evil they include. Second:The Qur’an contains what makes one in no need of such books. Allah, Subhanahu Wata’ala, says, “It is He who has sent down the Book ( the Qur’an ) to you ( Mohammad ) in truth, confirming wha came before it. “ therefore, everything useful in these Books is mentioned in the Qur’an. Islamic Law prohibits the reading from the Bible or other religious books. The reason behind the prohibition is that reading from other books may cause the person to confuse things, to take them out of context, and eventually, to lose his religion. The primary reference for a Muslim is always the Qur'an and the Sunna.We should reject any nonsense we find in their bible or (bibles),like what they mentioned about the fighting between Allah (The All Mighty) and Prophet Jaqoob ,or about the trinity,or any thing contradict the teaching of al Quran Wa Assunnah. we are commanded neither to believe nor disbelieve what they tell us about stories that are not present in our religion and does not contradict with teaching of Al Islam. Finally,It is not permissible to read the specious arguments that the Christians propagate on the internet or via other media, or to engage with them in religious disputes and debates, except for those who are qualified to do so, who have proof and evidence and who know how to present arguments. A number of scholars have stated that it is haraam to look at any of the books of the People of the Book, except for those who have deep knowledge, because we are commanded neither to believe nor disbelieve what they tell us about stories that are not present in our religion.
