Assalamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,

I want to know if its acceptable to keep our names as the full names of the sahaba .
For example: Uthman ibn affan or umar ibn al khattab etc. (not just uthman or umar)

jazakAllah khair

Alaikum Assalamu wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,

Yes,(if you can), it is better to keep you name as the SAHABAA (R A AN) did,and to follow the steps of the SAHABA in evry thing as much as we can.

Allah Knows Best.
