Assalamualaikum,
while reading a question asked by muslim on 27th, Thursday, in which he/she was asking you what does Islam teach when someone's business is not being run well, should one lose hope or not.
You said that religion is separate and business is separate,in religion one should not lose hope, while in business it is a matter of common sense, i want to ask as far as my observation goes religion covers all aspects of one's life, whether it is business, economy, law or any other aspect of life.
Guide me, am i right?

Salaam,

Religion is a way of life but you can not take all concepts of religion and think they apply to all areas of business or other things. We can use Bidah as an example. Innovation is haram in religion but there is nothing wrong with innovating in regards to technology.

The same for the use of Having Hope. As Muslims we are supposed to have hope in Allah for the forgiveness of our sins.. but we do not take this concept and say that means that if you are engaged in a business deal that you can see is going bad you can not cancel it because you have to sit and just keep hoping it works itself out.

Remember, Islam is a way of life and as Muslims we must have common sense and know how to diferentiate between hope in Allah and letting go of a business deal that you know has gone bad.
