Assalamualaikum,
I want to ask a question regarding an ayah's interpretation,i.e, "wa maa yantiqu anil hawaa in huwa illaa wahyuin yuhaa"
He does speak from his own desire rather it is a revelation that is revealed unto him

the question is whether this principal is for all the prophets or only for Prophet Muhammad (SAW)

As Salaamu Alaikoum,

Praise be to Allah.

You did not post the ayat in question here to be looked at so I do not understand what it is you are asking. If you are asking did all Prophets speak from revelation the answer is yes. Allah revealed his law to all Prophets and Messengers...the difference is that while Allah revealed his law to Prophets, they were not commanded to convey them as Messengers were.

If this is now what you were asking then post the ayat here and be more specific in what it is your are asking...

AND ALLAH KNOWS BEST
