Many thanks for your previous reply on menstruation query,
however you have me a bit worried, i would like to know is there any other way that the hymen breaks other than intercourse, i am young an unmarried and i had a show of blood for one day and the next day there was nothing it was light in colour and not very much and it was time for my period so i dont know what it is

please forgive me if i have asked anything wrong i am just a bit concerned!!

A hymen can break from falling, riding a horse and many other ways but that is not the point here. A hymen breaking has nothing to do with your period.

A broken hymen does not cause you to bleed like a period and some women do not bleed at all when their hymen is broken.
