Ok sister this might sound like a stupid question,But i was reading other questions about shaking hands, and its not premissable. so i was just wondering if like when a sister is getting on a bus and if there is no empty seat besie another women is it better to just stand up? or is it ok to sit beside a non mahram man and vice verca???

Islam is common sense and Allah makes no mistakes in his laws. Just like you can not shake a mans hand or be alone with a man in a room the same applies for sitting next to them too.. stand up!

Bottom line, THERE IS NO MIXING OF MEN AND WOMEN IN ISLAM
