It has been almost a week now, since I took Trevor, and handed him over. ...I cannot write more about it. I feel a part of me is gone..something vital..like my heart, or my lungs. It would have been easier to hand over my arm.

A missive reached me as I was traveling onward..and Indigo needed me back. I returned..and I upheld my word to Castalane. He is dead now. Indigo has been taken back into my protection..though I do not see much of her. She is safe enough at the Camera.

I have seen nor heard anything from Cinnabar..and that accursed Drow has been following me of late.
The docks have been nearly shut down in any operation that is above the table, and all undercover dealings have been slowed to a crawl. I wonder if Duel knows what has caused it. I know he cant be very happy with all the patrol crawling all over the docks..though half of them or more, are in his back pocket.
I dont know what the hell it is...not dragon..not serpent...but tailed, mottle skinned and taloned, with slitted eyes..its nae human I know that.
What I know so far is only that it works on contract...quite efficiently and lethal too. Its name is Qarag, and there are six now dead at his hand. I learned this morning, that three were killed on board last night.
I have some snooping around to do...and Ill find out more.
Hell..I have nothing better to do than hock a few jewels.
Finding a home for Indigo is not easy..and I feel for the girl. Mayhap Ill just take her on back to the cabin after things calm down, and stay there. I do wonder how much Sarven has gotten done on it, and if he is still around up there. I never have heard back from him.
I am doing better the last few days..and its becoming easier not to think about things. I cant, really...or else I shall never take a step out of doors. It would be far too easy to simply roll myself up in a blanket and never come out.
I shall write more in the next few days.
