Majidah is back, and she has brought with her my horse. She hardly looks the same, the old Gluepot, she is much thinner now, but she is still my same old mare. Majidah was exhausted when she got here, and the rain had soaked her. She sleeps now. The dogs and Gluepot had a bit of a rough meeting, and no doubt Faizah will bitch as much as Safiya about those dogs.
Sarven has dug a ditch around the cabin, and is lining it with flat stone..and not just any stone mind you, but flat plates, for the foundation. He says twill last longer.
He has also given me a staff, with an amethyst chrystal. It is "Oausten". I dont trust it..or him..but Id be lieing if I did not say its a thing to be proud of owning. Still..something is not quite right, and Tieflings are not to be trusted, of this Im sure. Until something shows itself though, we get along well enough, and he is a most fascinating creature. His teeth actually fall out and grow back on a regular basis, and they are razor sharp. He says a sage told him he had a mouth like a shark, and I agree.
His horns are like a rams, and he says they do not grow. He actually eats rocks and ash, as well as meat and blood. Fascinating. I hope to learn more about his kind, as they are so rare..and it appears Ill get the chance since he is adamantly taking up work on the cabin.
Damned dogs are barking at something again. I will write more later.
