One other question, do you know the loft angle of each of your clubs?
I recently noticed that my club loft angles appeared to be one off of other clubs that I have seen for sale. For example, my 6-iron has a loft angle of 36 degrees, which appears to be the loft angle I have seen on other vendors' 7-irons. So when it took me a 6-iron to hit a 145 yd shot, I didn't feel so bad. Though, I guess the real key is a consistent distance for club "x" regardless of what club it is. A great quote I once heard is "stay out of your playing partners bag, and never ask what club he or she is using." The best response I ever heard to a question at a 165-yd par 3 to "what club are you using?" was "my 165-yd club, of course!"
