Subject: Automatic Release

I preface everything I say by telling you that this is what works for me. If I concentrate on my head staying well behind the ball at impact or "over my right knee" as the tape says then most of the other things are automatic. Release, facing the ball at impact, minimal rotation etc. and most importantly, straight shots. My head doesn't turn until after I have hit the ball which is important because I have found that the biggest cause for slicing or topping is turning my head too early. It may feel at first like your head is turned too far to the right (for rt handers) but keeping the head over the right knee as long as you can will correct some other probs.
