The current situation in the MIddle East is definitely something to feel uneasy about. See that is just it, if America bombs Afghnistan or Russia Chechnya, there is little room to tell Israel not to. However something desperately needs to be done because what is going on right now has gotten terribly out of hand. I really don't see how Israel is justified in any of this so why is America so eager to back them on whatever they please to do? Oh wait it is probably because Israel and AMerica are best buds so anything goes.

This subject is so broad and can be discussed forever. For that reason I just want to stick to some basic points. AMerica is only worsening the problem in the Middle East and for that reason should probably not be present at all in terms of the "negotiations." If America is so eager to be a part of the resolution it needs to look at the Palestinians' side of the story and not only through the Israeli perspective. Second, like always America has gone against the UN's proposals. Ummm what is wrong with this picture? How about being a little open for input from the other parts of the world and not just what is "American." And of course this whole terrorism thing has gone way too far. SUre it is easy for America to sympathize with Israel right now since they are carrying out their own war on terror. FUnny how no one really looks at why there is so much terror in that region. If I remember correctly Palestine is occcupied and has been for a while. And Palestine has no army therefore how is it supposed to defend itself or fight for its own cause. Suicide bombings seem to be the answer to people who are so hopeless and fed up with the entire, long conflict.

This all just seems so terribly wrong and is so frustrating to listen to. I did not mean for this to sound like a rant but I am just so fed up with this situation and this administrations war on terrorism. I wish that people would get it through their head that poor, desperate people will do almost anything that they believe will further their cause. How about showing both sides of the conflict in the Middle East, America?!
