painless gaze shoots up at her, he did not trust what she was saying. he knew that what he was doing was worth it. he had wanted all his life to end what had obviously been a big mistake and finally have peace with himself. a smirk registers on his face, gaze summing her up. he avoided her gaze, looking everywhere but in her eyes. he spoke, voice hoarse from growing weakness as his blood drained into the alley. "so. you can kill yourself but for me its not worth it? well, it is." strings are filled with resignation...he was on the verge of giving up completely, and then there would be no help for him. "trust me..this, right now, hurts a lot less than living." he smiles wryly, leaning his head against the wall, closing his eyes. had he truly given up? or was it a charade?
