Kima: Scared of what? Scared of losing me? After all I've done to be with him? I lied to everybody and almost jeoparidized (sp?) my relationship with you, but he was scared. Naw, I don't think so. You gon have to come better than that.
Nelly: Sometimes niggas just do stupid stuff. Especially when it comes to ppl they love.
Kima: But why Nelly? Why not just tell me up front? Why let me find out this way?
Nelly: I don't know Kima. Only he can tell you that, but you've gotta give him a chance to speak first.
Kima: I'd rather not.
Nelly: Come on Kima you've gotta hear him out.

Murph: Ma, I think I messed up big time.
MM: Oh lawd. What you done got yourself into this time? You ain't in trouble with the law are you?
Murph: Naw Ma. It's nuthin like that. It's Kima.
MM: What about her?
Murph: I never told her about Damon and then Laila just showed up out the blue. Apparently Kima was listening to us cuz she's real pissed at me right now.
MM: Well wouldn't you be mad if you were in her situation? Just think if Kima never told you she had a child and you just happen to find out. How would you feel?
Murph: Like she didn't really want me in her life. Like I was on the outside looking in.
MM: Well that's exactly how Kima's feeling right now. Why didn't you tell her in the first place?
Murph: I don't know. I guess I thought she would think I was just like all the rest of these niggas out here that are only after one thing. But I want more than that with her. Much more.
MM: You might have just lost your chance.
Murph: ~sarcastically~ Thanks Ma. Real encouraging.
MM: I'm sorry baby. Every thing'll work out in the end. I know it will.
Murph: Okay Ma. If you say so.
~Murph's phone started ringing and he picked it up and answered it.~
Murph: Yo.
Nelly: Now I told you if you hurt my little sister that was gon be yo ass, but since you my dirty I'ma spare you this time.
Murph: Did you talk to her?
Nelly: Yeah, I talked to her.
Murph: How's she doing?
Nelly: She's hurt. She's real hurt.
Murph: Damn, how do I always end up in situations like this?
Nelly: I don't know, but you gon have to do something big to fix this. Real big.
Murph: I know. I know.
Nelly: Well, I'ma let you think about it cuz I gotta run some where wit Dawn right quick, aight.
Murph: Aight then dirty. I'll catch up wit you lata.
Nelly: Aight. E.I.
