Marie found herself so enticed by her artful words, her artful story, but she couldnt help but feel, that this was no ordinary story.. It felt rather familiar.. Familiar indeed. Nontheless, she loved it, she sat so forward, so interested.. until it all came to a halt, a rather abrupt halt. Why couldnt it end as though she could return, she could have both, the love of her soulmate, and the undeniable warmth, and comfort the ocean once brought to her? It left her silent, thoughtful, staring expressionless into the roaring fire. Before long she quickly threw her gaze back at the queen, the storyteller. Deep down Marie wanted to tell her, wanted to tell her the truth, but as it was, the once mermaiden, was infact no longer a creature of the sea, rather a creature of land, a very lost creature of the land. Hope kept her going, hope guided her.. She still couldnt help but feel she abandoned her people, her life. She was not meant to be a thing of the land. She didnt fit in, she was lost. Completely lost. She loved these people, no doubt about that, but deep down, she still feels as though she is not one of them, despite her current condition. True be told, she is a walking mermaiden.. Really it was that simple. Her fins may have been taken from her, but her consious, her soul still lived on, from what was the mermaid life. The life of the sea, the fish, the glistening gold, the coves.. the corals.. "..That sounds very familiar," she thought for a moments time, could Serenity possibly know of her secret, her abandoned secret.. Fins, water, fish..? "..all the same, it was very good, I loved it."
