A question regarding Close Combat vs AFVs came up in a recent game.

Section 20.5 states that a squad in CC may add the FP factor of an LMG to their inherent firepower.

Section 36.2 states that a squad attacking an AFV in CC must roll equal to or less than their FP in order to eliminate the vehicle.

The question regards how these two rules interact. We presumed, since there was nothing to the contrary, that they both hold as written, and a squad attacking a vehicle in CC may include an LMG's firepower with its own in the attack. Was this correct? Just wanting to be sure...

Thanks,

Chris.
