After I had been smoking about three months, my husband had semi-emergency surgery. I stayed with him prior to going into surgery. Then they had a delay. Finally, they had surgury and recovery. He was home in two days, btw. It seemed like the desire to smoke was easing by that time. But I finally smoked one after 11 hours. Then another and another. Since you started as an adult, how did that happen? How did your becoming a smoker go over with other smokers, non-smokers?
