(As UPN closes off yet another boring show with a credit sequence, we have a transition to a short sketch, with the "Ask Sonic" logo showing at first.)
Voice: (voice-over, as usual) For those curious Sonic fans during the summer, here's something to cure that "Ask Sonic" withdrawl syndrome you have!
(We pan to Shadow, who is sitting at a chair in an otherwise plain room. He looks around.)
Voice: Elfshire asks Shadow this question!
"Dear Shadow:
In the beginning of SA2, you use your skates to fly
around. Why have you never done that since?"
Shadow: It's actually a bit of a story, you see...

(Flashback: Sequence in SA2, with Shadow coming out of his capsule.)
Shadow: (voice-over) Trying to impress Dr. Eggman after he released me, I was going to destroy the GUN robot that set on intercepting the intruder. To get down, I was going to use my skates to fly down. However, in an SA2 edit, I found out how limited their flying capabilities were.
(Shadow flies up after his "blah blah blah power" speech, and readies to fly down at the GUN boss, only to see his skates 'lose power', and he falls to the ground with a resounding *THUD!*)
Shadow: (scene) Ow.
Eggman: (sweatdropping) This instills confidence.
Shadow: (muffled) I just got out of cyrogenic freezing after about 50 years! Lay off!

Shadow: My head still hurts from that... (confused) wait a minute, what am I doing here? Why am I asked a question? What's with this room? ... And why the camera?
Voice: Looks like the Ultimate Life Form suffered a memory relapsed. Must be from the bump on the head.
Shadow: Who's talking?
Voice: Uh, thanks, Shadow.
(We pan back to the "Ask Sonic" logo.)
Voice: Elfshire also agreed with my point of view on the whole "faker" issue. Thank you! And as for Sonic shaving his eyelids, yes, that is very bizzare. But then again, Sonic is a little off his rocker... hmmm, where is Sonic?
(Pause.)
Voice: Ah well... tune in every Friday night to see reruns of your favorite Sonic characters answering questions - and me, of course - and follow their exploits! Only... on *shuddering* UPN.
(As we fade-out.)
Voice: (quiet, as if off-mic) What's this about me being patented?
(CLICK... BOOOOOOOOOOP!)
