Hi Autumn,

Welcome! Your friend is lucky to have you. If I were in your shoes I'd let her know how important it is to seriously consider all options in front of her. So often when confronted with the scary reality of an unplanned pregnancy women react quickly in fear, with abortion, and wish afterwards they'd explored things more thoroughly.

I would definitely recommend she look up her cities Pregnancy Resource Center. She can get everything free and confidential there, including counseling and access to assistance for pregnant mothers.

I'd be sure to give her lots of hugs and encourage her to take good care of herself (lots of sleep!) Also, to become as informed as possible about all aspects of pregnancy, abortion, adoption, fetal development, and STI's.
